The engagement started in mid-April with the site receiving near-zero organic traffic and a severe technical debt across hundreds of pages.
The Challenge
The site had 0 organic visitors at the start of the engagement. Technical issues were widespread across 400+ pages: 342 broken internal links, 313 pages missing H1 tags, 13 pages returning 4xx errors, broken canonical tags, and duplicate meta descriptions. Only 1 keyword ranked, visible in the US only. The 31MB homepage caused by an unoptimized video added a page speed problem on top of everything else.

Technical Audit
Conducted a full technical audit identifying and prioritizing issues across 400+ pages.
Error Resolution
Fixed 342 broken internal links, bringing the count to zero by August. Reduced H1 missing pages from 313 to 26 and duplicate meta descriptions from 14 to zero.
Programmatic Meta Data
Fixed programmatic meta titles and heading structure across 154 villa pages.
Schema Implementation
Implemented schema markup across 542 villa pages using LocalBusiness, RentalVacation, and Review types.
Keyword & Targeting Expansion
Built a keyword strategy targeting villa rental terms across Indonesia, Australia, US, UK, and India, with individual keyword targeting for high-traffic villa listings including Villa Azzurra, Villa Soleil, and Villa Infinity Ubud.
Link Building
Built 18 backlinks in August targeting specific villa pages and keywords from travel publications with domain authority 25–51.
Indexation Recovery
Requested reindexing for 112 out of 130 villa pages, with 112 successfully indexed in August.
Results
- Organic views grew from 2,527 in March to 23,271 in August, an 820% increase in five months
- Total users grew from 273 in March to 5,199 in August
- Site health errors reduced from 416 in July to 72 in August
- Broken internal links dropped from 342 to zero
- H1 missing pages reduced from 313 to 26
- Duplicate meta descriptions eliminated from 14 to zero
- 228 views across 134 URLs from AI sources in August, with a 69.4% engagement rate
